With our Embedded Insights Bundle, you can keep track of your warehouse in the SAP Fiori Launchpad by using real-time key performance indicators (KPIs) and diagrams. You are also able to access detailed insights and visualizations directly or navigate to the corresponding Fiori transaction.
With the UX concept SAP Fiori, all applications relevant to a specific user are bundled and made available in the SAP Fiori Launchpad. The tiles used in the Launchpad can either link directly to applications or display key performance indicators (KPIs) and live diagrams. The result is a blend of overview and navigation hub, which is precisely where our KPI solution comes into play.
Both operational and strategic key figures are essential for companies to assess the current state, highlight urgent needs for action, and react appropriately. Our Embedded Insights Bundle is for all SAP S/4HANA customers, enabling them to get started with real-time KPIs – regardless of the business sector or the SAP solution(s) in use. It also provides current logistics insights based on the key figure services of SAP EWM and their evaluation via a drill-down function.
As a service by prismat, S/4HANA Insights offers a quick entry into the world of real-time key figures in your SAP S/4HANA system with SAP Fiori. You can select up to ten key figures from a catalog for which corresponding evaluations will be set up as Smart Business KPIs. (The number of tiles varies depending on the selected key figures due to the logical interconnections.)
The data source for S/4HANA Insights are the CDS (Core Data Service) views in SAP S/4HANA. With each new release, SAP publishes additional standard CDS views, based on which our S/4HANA Insights provides corresponding KPI overviews. If the selection of standard CDS views does not meet the requirements, custom CDS views can also be created.
Key figures from the warehouse are crucial for logistical decision-making processes. With the help of these KPIs, you can evaluate important factors such as the capacity of the goods receipt area and the control zone or the fill level of the warehouse. Not to mention that KPIs can describe the performance of a logistics system. You can determine these KPIs by using the Measurement Services of SAP EWM and display them in the SAP client software.
EWM KPI by prismat provides a quick entry into the topic of EWM metrics with SAP Fiori. Based on your EWM Measurement Services, we compile ten tile apps in the SAP Fiori Launchpad that give you a quick overview of the current condition of your warehouse logistics. (This works independently of new developments around SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA.) Depending on the value of the key figure, the contents can be color-coded to highlight situations requiring immediate action.
When dealing with key figures, it is sometimes insufficient to only look at one point in time, as the current value of a key figure may not provide much insight. The actual meaning of such a figure only becomes apparent when you consider the development towards the current value. For example, trends for future developments can be discerned from the chronological sequence of delivery orders, not by simply looking at the key figure »Today’s Delivery Orders«.
Based on EWM KPI our application EWM Insights therefore extends this limited look at one point in time by allowing the evaluation of past data related to an existing key figure. This drill-down function is possible by retrieving relevant data from the SAP system. The desired data is then presented in the form of numerical series or diagrams in a new window in the Fiori Launchpad. This window opens when the corresponding tile is selected. Thus, the tile serves as the access point for the analysis while also continuing to display the current value of a configured key figure.
